This programme is intended for business owners, heads of enterprises and individual company units whose duties include participating in settling collective labour disputes at the pre-trial stage and minimising the negative consequences of employee strikes for the business. With the necessary theoretical knowledge and familiarity with practical examples of settling strikes, participants will be able to manage emerging conflict situations in work collectives effectively and with minimal financial cost to the business, resolving them through conciliation procedures without letting them escalate to strikes and court proceedings.
The aim of the training is to familiarise participants with and give them a general understanding of the labour legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the main provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 414-V of 23 November 2015, and other regulatory legal acts) and its application in practice, and to introduce the principles and procedures for resolving collective labour disputes enshrined in Kazakhstani labour legislation, aimed at protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the parties to employment relations.
Course objectives:
based on the theoretical knowledge gained and familiarity with existing Kazakhstani practice, to instil in participants the skills of settling collective labour disputes within the conciliation procedures provided for by law.
Target audience — business owners, corporate top management, heads of production units of enterprises.
