The growing complexity of corporate legislation and the increasing liability for non-compliance with it are leading ever more companies to create the position of corporate secretary, responsible for the work of the governing bodies of the joint-stock company and compliance with corporate rules and procedures.

As a result of the training the participant:

  • — will learn about the experience of joint-stock companies in introducing the institution of the corporate secretary into their practice, the status of the corporate secretary, their rights and obligations, and the options for enshrining them in the joint-stock company's documents
  • — will gain practical skills in organising the preparation and holding of general shareholders' meetings, supporting the work of the board of directors, designing the joint-stock company's corporate governance system, disclosing information, and carrying out other tasks facing corporate secretaries
  • — will become familiar with the working practice of corporate secretaries of joint-stock companies
