The programme is intended for specialists carrying out the installation, operation and maintenance of Raychem cable fittings. The training combines theoretical preparation with practical sessions, allowing participants to gain the necessary knowledge and consolidate it in practice under the guidance of a certified instructor.
The course covers:
— the purpose, construction and field of application of Raychem cable fittings;
— requirements for installation, operation, maintenance and repair;
— the technology of installing joint, termination and plug-in fittings;
— typical mistakes in installation work and ways of preventing them;
— practical skills practice for installation on training samples.
The training is held at a modern technical centre equipped with all the necessary equipment and materials for the practical work.
On completion of the training participants receive two certificates:
— an International Business Academy certificate;
— an international TE Connectivity Energy Raychem certificate, with an individual registration number assigned and the details entered into the international database of accredited cable jointers.
The TE Connectivity Energy Raychem certificate is issued linked to the organisation that paid for the training. If the specialist moves to another employer, this certificate ceases to be valid in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements.
