The aim of the seminar is to pass on to participants the practical experience accumulated in the methodology and application of International Financial Reporting Standards across a wide range of issues that have a significant impact on financial statements. At the seminar participants will learn about the new standards that have recently been adopted or amended.
Current issues of accounting and preparing financial statements under IFRS are also examined in detail, along with an introduction to the changes made to the Tax Code. During the seminar participants will be able to analyse the fine points of applying the changes in tax legislation in their own practice. A clear structure and accessible presentation of the material, and consolidation of the knowledge gained by completing practical assignments and using illustrations from companies' financial statements, will help participants retain the information.
